Why should I have my carpet repaired?
Because it can be a very inexpensive alternative to replacing the carpet if there are discoloration stains, rips/tears, etc.

What are some examples of damage that can happen to the carpet?

  • Discoloration: Pet stains, chemicals (i.e. bleach).
  • Burn Damage: Usually from cigarette, iron, fireplace and wax.
  • Food coloring: Certain types of dye from foods and liquids.
  • Rips/Tears: Damage from pets, worn-out areas from high traffic, furniture moving.

    How much is it?
Our minimum charge is $85.00 and goes up from there depending on what needs to be done. Our on-site, written estimate fee is $25.00. However, the fee is waived if the customer wants the work done.

    Can you guarantee the work?
Most times we can warranty the work for the life of the carpet. Occasionally we cannot, however, because of pre-existing conditions in the carpet (i.e. excessive damage).

Why should I have my carpet restretched?
It can save you hundreds, maybe thousands, of dollars instead of replacement, especially if the carpet is fairly recent (7 years or less). The carpet is much easier to clean because of a tighter surface, so you get a better result.

How do I know when my carpet should be restretched?
When you see “ripples” (i.e. bumps, rolls, and waves) through out the room/hall. If they are not stretched out they can split open causing permanent damage.

    What causes these “ripples”?

  • Poor installation.
  • Over-wetting (inferior carpet cleaning, flood damage).

What do you charge for restretching?
The same as our repairs ($85.00/Minimum, $25.00 estimate fee). Again, the estimate fee is waived if the customer wants the worked done.

What type of warranty comes with the restretching?
Same as the repairs. We`ll offer a lifetime guarantee of the carpet unless circumstances wont allow us to ( i.e. excessively damaged carpet, furniture not moved out of area), but in nearly every case, we can.
